Animal Exhibits

N.W. Jr. Livestock Show and Sale
FFA and 4-H members will show their hogs, sheep or steers at this annual event. Drop by and ask questions about the animals and learn about caring for farm animals. Each student will squeeze in time to groom their animals for blue ribbon honors, too. The auction is on Sunday, so make a point to catch this fast-moving event. Boer Goat Show
This is a show sanctioned by the American Boer Goat Association. Did you know that the Boer goat breed is one of the hardiest of all livestock breeds? (#M on map)

Junior Heifer Show
4-H and FFA students can participate in these three junior heifer shows: Junior Herefords on Friday at 5:00 pm, Junior Limousins on Saturday at 12:30 pm and Junior Simmentals on Saturday at 3 pm (#P on map)

Shepherd’s Extravaganza
This annual event covers almost every aspect of the sheep industry, from showing sheep to spinning and weaving demonstrations – and even sales of handcrafted items. (#J on map)
